Homework: completing the Foldable due September 13th

Today, September 12th, 2019 we made foldable notes for operations with integers. If students did not finish the project in class, they need to finish the foldable as homework. It is due tomorrow September 13th in class. Students are allowed to bring their journal homework help them fill out the foldable. Below is a picture of what the foldable should look like. Inside should be filled with answers to help them study. If you have any questions or concerns email me at khenke@aoths.net.

Update on our learning: 7th Grade

Hello Parents and Guardians, We have just finished up our unit on adding and subtracting integers. Students have taken their first assessment and were given an opportunity in class to fix their mistakes and grow. Those grades have been inputted into the grade book. If students are still unhappy with their grades, they can talk to me about ways to earn back points.  This moves us on to our next unit: multiplying and diving integers. In the next week and a half, students will have a notebook check worth 50 points. Their notebook must have all journal entries and independent practices we have worked on in class for full points. Students will have their next assessment within the next two weeks.  This class of 7th graders is focused and driven. I am very proud to watch them work and be successful in math. I am excited to see where the rest of the year takes us. If you have any questions or concerns, feel free to email me at any time. -Mrs. Henke khenke@aoths.net
